When installing Wordpress on a Hostway shared web hosting account, I received a fatal error saying PHP’s memory was maxed out. In order to correct this, find the php.ini file that resides in the cgi-bin directory and increase the memory by adding the following line of code:

ini_set(”memory_limit”,”32M”);

This corrected the problem and Wordpress now runs on Hostway.
